It's the Fluoro Lite: a 16'' aluminum reflective shell fixture with diffusion producing the equivalent of 300 Watts. Fluorescent bulbs put out so little heat, they're comfortable for talent and less of a fire hazard. The Fluoro Lite makes nice interview light, good product lighting and a light that's safe to use with a power inverter and an auto's cigarette lighter (since it draws only 80 watts). It's color balanced for 5000K, matching overhead fluorescent lighting and stray daylight (replace practical lamps in the set background with fluorescent screw-in lamps to match the color temperature, i.e., cool--RS3995). $10/day.
